Daily Routines

puzzleOur daily routines include a variety of experiences available in classroom centers and planned group experiences of circle time, art, music, and a story/language time led by our experienced teachers giving order to the preschoolers day.

Circle Time

Circle time gives all our students a chance to come together as a community of learners. We share our thoughts, listen to one another, actively participate together, introduce new ideas and concepts, read together, sing together, and build a sense of respect and support for one another.

Story Language and Expression

Reading aloud to children and engaging them in discussion about the book or a story is one of the most effective ways to promote early literacy development. Children express their ideas through dictation, writing and drawing. This promotes communication, vocabulary development, comprehension and communication.

 Art

Art is more than just fun! Through art children develop communication skills beyond verbal language.  They are able to express feelings and ideas that they may not have words for.  Problem solving by being able to explore freely their brains become more actively engaged in the whys and hows.  Social and emotional skills are developed through sharing, taking turns and appreciating others effort.  Fine motor skills are promoted through holding pain brush, cutting paper, drawing with crayons, and squeezing a glue bottle.

Music

Music is an important part of a preschooler's environment and development.  When they participate actively in singing, dancing and listening to new sounds and beats they develop better focus and control of their bodies.  They have a higher self-esteem; they do better in reading and math, and play better with others when they start school.

There are a wide range, and enough for everyone, of toys, books, puzzles, bikes, etc.
Each teacher is great with communicating to the children.
They were also willing to work with him regarding potty time...although he is fully trained..he needs help from time to time.
My son has expressed, every day, how happy he is there and I can't express enough how comforting it is to know that he is safe and having fun.
